Banana Bread with Oats

Method of Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (medium temperature).
  • Butter and sprinkle with wheat flour a 22cm by 10cm cake pan.
  • Shake well to cover the bottom and sides with the flour and beat the pan upside down over the sink to remove the excess.
  • Peel the bananas, place on a plate and, with a fork, mash well.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs and oil with a fork.
  • Mix the mashed banana well.
  • Mix coconut sugar, flour, oats, yeast and cinnamon in another bowl.
  • Gradually add these dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir well.
  • Transfer the dough to the pan and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  • To check if the cake is ready, stick a toothpick into the dough: if it comes out clean, you can remove it from the oven otherwise, leave it for a few more minutes.

Remove from the oven and allow to warm before unmolding.

Serve next.
When cool, if desired, cut into slices, heat in the toaster and serve with butter and honey.

Enjoy!
